Tempest in a teacup

Best quote I found so far about the emails stolen from some climate scientists was this:
"The impressive thing about this conspiracy is that they managed to convince the planet's glaciers, sea ice, and hydrological cycles to play along. ",By Bill McKibben (quoted from Washington Post).

Just ask the citizens of the Maldive Islands. Ask the Dutch government. Funny how one's height above see level affects ones view of the seriousness of climate change.

If anything, these stolen emails are an interesting window into the world of climate science. I've always felt that it was a bit too secluded so this publicity might have a positive side to it. I am not too sure how the scientists themselves feel about it though. Their privacy that has been violated.
